Bio: Billy Lerman is competing in his 3rd Maccabi Games. Played in 2017 games along with 2 older Brothers. Sons Max and Ari played in the open and junior divisions in 2017. Billy also played in the 2013 games, winning gold.
Billy is the Founder Emeritus of the Beta Tau Lamda fraternity in South Bend, IN. His organization empowers young men to live full and robust lives with the influences of golf, hockey, natural remedies, and extracuriculars. Based on his successful outreach to the Mennonite community, Billy was named deputy director of diversity, inclusion and equity for the Masters hockey team. On ice accomplishments include being the #2 All time Jewish points leader at University of Notre Dame.
Billy was proceeded by his father at Notre Dame, who played baseball, and by his grandfather who played on the 1931 freshman football team for legendary coach Knute Rockne. Upon graduating from Notre Dame, Billy played for Kallered in Sweden. Billy's 2 older sons are students, as well as musicians in the band, Mr. Mota. Billy's youngest son Josh is a student at the University of Arizona where he plays hockey.
