Bio:  Born in Bethpage, NY, Dan played Oyster Bay youth hockey from age 7-17 winning the Pee Wee National Championship in 1980.  Played four years at Union College, graduating in 1990 with an electrical engineering degree, and has continued playing twice a week, winter and summer for the past 30 years. In 2012, at age 43, he crossed off a bucket list item and played his first two professional games in the Federal Hockey league after a 20+ year hiatus from full contact.  

Dan is married to wife Cathy with one son Hunter, 18 years old.  Dan has a business since 1994 called Synergy Investment doing energy efficient lighting projects across North America.  Besides hockey, he plays baseball, golf and will jump in with a band to play harmonica given the opportunity.
