Bio: Evan is the youngest of three brothers that all played competitive college hockey. Following in his brothers’ footsteps, Evan played four years of prep school hockey at Culver Military Academy in Culver, IN, and then went on to join his brother, Kenneth, at Colby College in Waterville, ME, where they each played DIII hockey for four years. Evan and Kenneth played on the same line for two seasons at Colby from 1999-2001 and are excited to be reunited on the ice with the 2022 Maccabi USA Ice Hockey Team. Evan captained the Colby team his senior year. Evan’s oldest brother, Justin Kearns, played college hockey at Northeastern University in Boston, MA and was a member of the inaugural 1997 Maccabi USA Ice Hockey Team. Evan currently lives in Needham, MA with his wife and three children (11, 10, 7), two of which are competitive youth hockey players in the prestigious Easter Hockey Federation.
In his professional life, Evan is the Chief Legal Officer of Cogent Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: COGT), a biotechnology company focused on developing precision therapies for genetically defined diseases.
