Bio:  Mike Grossman is participating in his first Maccabi Games in 2022. This will also be his first time to Israel. Mike hails from Newington Connecticut where he started playing hockey at the age of five. By the age of ten he was a full time goaltender and has never put on forward skates competitively since. Mike played on various youth and club teams before playing four years of varsity hockey for the Kingswood-Oxford School (West Hartford, CT) and then at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from Penn, Mike moved to Boston along with his goalie gear and has been playing in men's leagues since. For the past ten years he has backstopped the Larz Anderson Bruins in an outdoor league. Mike has also spent time behind the bench of the South Boston Shamrocks coaching his two boys, Tyler (13) and Jack (10).
